Hi there Jo
I am sorry you are feeling ill. Here is a link to our information about Prozac side effects. As you can see...nausea is one of the first side effects listed so it is possible it is contributing to your stomach issues.
My best suggestion is to discuss this with your doctor and see what remedies he or she offers. In the meantime...maybe an over the counter medication for your stomach may help? I always have success with alka seltzers myself. But...make sure you do talk with your doctor about this.
I hope you feel better soon.
hi, i had a question for u & i used to take & still do gas x . it helps with the bloating . i'm on prozac now but, after almost 1 yr. i felt like it wasn't working as i started to get real depressed again . i was going to try celexa . i've been weening down from 60mg. on 40mg now .but, i'm afraid to actually take it . not only of side affects but, of with drawal if i have to stop taking it . i went through terrible hellish withdrawal . when i had to stop taking cymbalta but, i used 20 mg of prozac as i was told it helps . could u give any imformation about celexa as i'm really scared to start taking it . maybe i should just stay on the prozac . i'm so confused as to what to do. but, i hate taking a drug that isn't working either .my dr. just added welbutrin 75 mg i'm in the fifth week now . i feel nervous & been having trouble sleeping & panic attacks . but, i suffer with panic attacks so the dr wants me to continue with the welbutrin . i'm hoping it will start to help it has helped already with sex life . which i'm real happy about . any thing u can tell me about celexa would be great . as i see your weening off it .thanks silverfox46
