Sorry about the delay in getting back to you. I hope this groggyness has disipated in the meantime. Unfortunately if your son was addicted to opiates of some sort, (is that why he is on the suboxone?) then he will probably feel this groggy feeling and lack of inhabitions. Many ex-addicts attribute this to the suboxone's ability to keep you from getting high. Also the seroquel is probably just adding to it. While seroquel is sometimes given in doses of up to 800 mg or higher, these people usually have bi polar disorder. 50 mg might be too much for the insomnia, (which is probably a side effect of suboxone.) However what ever you do dont let your son, if he was addicted to opiates, go off the suboxone! Best to check in with your sons doc for a final decision.
