Is there a supply problem for Wellbutrin XL 300?

My pharmacist says the name brand Wellbutrin XL 300 mg is not available due to problems at the manufacturer's end. Is this true?

That baffles me as I got a prescription filled today for 300mg. I got the generic. I doubt your doctor would be prescribing something unavailable. Also, if it were true you would definitely find info on the Internet.
