I have been on effexor 225mg for over 4 years.  Lately my emotions have been almost out of control at times with yelling and crying. It certainly seems that the Effexor is no longer doing it's job.  Is it possible that I've built up a resistance to it? It has worked in the past.  Could my depression be worsening? Not sure what other med to ask to try .   I could sure use some advice.
