Hello dflat,   I have found that in arguments people hardly ever have deeper meanings behind the things they say. I find it is better just not to try and read into the things people say when they are upset. Usually they are looking for a way to make you upset as well so the things they say are said just to make you feel the same as them. Try to forget about it and move on. If you are feeling sad and upset all the time and nothing seems to be working, you should go to a doc. A good doc will have lots of options for you. I hope your feeling better...
