Thank you all so very much for sharing your experiences!  At least I know now that I am not crazy (although my husband may debate that - ha ha).  Really, it is very helpful to confirm what symptoms are attributable to the Exxexor withdrawl.   I am looking for some advice on whether or not to anticipate my brain functioning normally again...    I have been tapering from 187.5 for a couple months and just made the last leap from 37.5 to 0 a week ago.  I felt great on Effexor but am planning to become pregnant.   I have dealt with the nausea, hot flashes, tremors BUT I feel as if I've just had a lobotomy which is, of course, quite impactful on the job front. Specifically, 'fogginess', inability to focus, forgetfullness, losing train of thought mid-sentence.  It is night and day from what I consider 'normal'.   Do cognitive skills ever return to 'normal'???  If so, how long does it take?  Balancing withdrawl and career is a problem I never anticipated.    Thank you!
