Hi - This drug is usually used as anti-seizure medication. I've been taking it now for close to 6 years in combination with other drugs to address a neurological component that I have in my illness. I have no complaints with it. In fact, the only side effect that it has had is to stop me from gaining gross amounts of weight on one of my other drugs. Of course you should have neurological testing before starting the drug and determining dosage etc.
