Maria,   You certainly mean mg rather than grams?   Only your doctor can tell you why he increased the dosage on the Zoloft. How were you doing on 25mg? Was it working for you?   Always be sure to consult your doctor before discontinuing medications. You might have done better to go back to 25mg for a while before totally discontinuing it.   In any case, you'll need to ask your doctor why he increased your dosage.   hope you're feeling better soon, Teri Robert
