How do you know if the medication you take is adding to your depression?  My medication, a mood stabilizer, has mood, behavior, depression and anxiety warnings all over it, but I also have tons of other things going on which I believe are also getting me down and has been for a very long time.  The medication seems to be working for my other condition but I cant keep going on feeling like this either.  I want to smile again but I dont know if its the medication, everything else or both.

Hello... I feel desperate at times and so anxious to  get help from the medication... but it seems to make it worse... stomach and tiredness and it feels "hopeless" while experimenting with

all the medications... Why can`t I get something to give calm... yet happier..

NOT so  tired one cannot function... and

so depressed that it  seems every minute is"hard" to cope with.

Hi D2S3,

Sorry to hear your having a rough time. One of the best things a person can do that suffers from depression is to get with a counselor or therapist. Talking out ones problems and getting some good advice can be the best thing for a person. Another thing you could do is talk to your doctor and let him/her decide if you need a different medication.

Hope this helps you out,

Pat
