I am not an "expert" but I know Zoloft will not create a fase positive for benzo's, and I looked up information on the remeron.com site and it appears it will not do so either.

Good luck.  I was drug tested several times by random selection at one job.  I was on a number of antipsychotics and antidepressants and none ever registered a positive for any substance they were testing for.

Wrong !!! Zoloft has been documented and known to cause a false positive for benzodiazapines. Happened to me, but was corrected when urine was re-tested using GC/MS test. VA pain clinic was going to stop all my meds untill I insisted that a re-test be done. If you know you are right, allways demand a test using GC/MS method.

I'm the first to admit anything is possible.  But as I said, I was tested several times while on Zoloft and never came up "positive" for any of the substances they were looking for.  I suppose it might have to do with body chemistry?

I'm on a pretty good dose of Zoloft. I was tested for my current job and nothing came up positive. I even brought my medications and documentation with me in case they needed it. Cause I take Vicodin once in awhile for obvious reasons. Every testing facility is different I suppose but most of them test for illegal street drugs like meth and marijuana and stuff. The diagnostic expert there said that "the technology isn't very good so false positives can happen but they rarely do and we limit our testing mostly to major street drugs to try and prevent that from happening."

One thing to remember though: A couple years ago. Back when I worked at MADD in 2007. Poppy Seeds from baked goods can give you a dirty UA. A False positive for Opiates I think. So if you ever have to get tested don't eat poppy seeds. They're little black specks usually in bagels.
