GARY, DON'T STOP TAKING PROZAC OR ANY ANTI-DEPRESSION MEDICINE RIGHT AWAY. TRY A WEEK WITH 1/2 THE DOSE . THEN ANOTHER WEEK WITH 1/2 OF THE 1/2...A 1/4. OF COUSE YOU SHOULD TELL THE DR. YOU WANT OFF. I CAN TELL YOU FROM EXPERIENCE AND STOPPING AN ANTI-DEPREEION MED RIGHT AWAY DUE TO A SIDE EFFECT. SUCH MISERY AND CRYING, CRYING. GOOD LUCK AND PLEASE DON'T DO SOMETHING THAT WILL MAKE YOU VERY SAD

Medications should not just be stopped. Talk with your doctor about this. He can prescribe a lower dose and help you taper off.
