Hi Cantu   Can you tell us more about your anger?  Is there a source for it?  What are you hating?    A simple answer to your question is yes...there is more than this.  You don't need to hold onto the anger.  It is possible to feel happy and at peace.   Are you seeing a therapist at all?  Do you have people to talk to.   Tell us more about your situation and perhaps we can give a more detailed response.
