Q: Since I stopped taking Seroquel I can't sleep, why is that?

I take Seroquel and I sleep like a baby but if I should miss a dose I can't sleep at all. My Dr. says he doesn't understand that but I have to take it in order to sleep now.

Gary, here is some information on Seroquel and it does talk about the possibility of dependency and also that, if stopped suddenly, you could have trouble sleeping.  I believe it's meant to be taken every day/night.  I know there are other drugs that have immediate withdrawal effects, so chances are that's what it is.  I hope this helps.
