I studed this medication, Tofranil PM and was on it about 20yrs ago. Worked better then many newer drugs with LESS side effects. Why did my doctor say take in AM?

Q: Imipramine Pamonate is the same as Tofranil PM. Why would my doc write to take in AM?

I am afraid I don't know...the only person to explain your doctor's actions is your doctor. Why don't you give him a call tomorrow morning.
