I am not a doctor but I had a doctor that approved my taking effexor xr 75mg a day after my 1st trimester. I stopped all my meds for the 1st trimester and went back on effexor only and at this low dose. I delivered a normal beautiful child who is now 2 1/2.
Some psychiatrists disagree on this subject so get a few opinions. I was so depressed when I stopped taking the meds in my first trimester so I crashed and saw a hospital psychiatrist that put me back on effexor after the 1st trimester. Good luck and congratulations!
