Hello Reuben
I am not sure of any connection between this medication and depression. Were you asking if wisdom teeth removal and this medication has anything to do with depression?
I have information about Clindamycin here. But that really doesn't have anything to do with depression. Depression is not listed as a side effect.
But I can see how losing a job can cause someone to feel depressed.
If you are concerned about your daughter's depression, would she agree to see a doctor or therapist?
I hope things get better for your daughter and thank you for your question.

I also suffered from depression while taking Clindamycin. I've taken this medication 3 different times in the past year each time was different with the depression.
First time the depression hit me 2 days after I stopped the Clindamycin.
Second time I took Clindamycin the depression hit me during the coruse of the medication.
Third time taking Clindamycin depression hit me while taking the Clindamycin.
It took about 2 weeks after stopping Clindamycin for the depression to subside.
Clindamycin does cause depression!
