shannon
07/03/08

my mother has been on wellbutrin since Dec and has been upto the 450mg since the end of Feb-she is 64 and has fallen several times-this last time I was there to witness one and I think she is having minor seizers-she also is on dialisis and has been since mid 2007

Is there an anti depressant for her cause it looks like wellbutrin isn't the one for her

Hello!

Depression is a personal health issue for me....

Shannon,

Antidepressants can be tricky at your mother's age and other health issues. There are a wide range of antidepressants, but it's impossible to recommend one online. This needs to be handled by a physican who has her full medical records. I've dealt with similar situations with my mother's medications and found a psychiatrist with a specialty in geriatric psychiatry to do the best for her. If you need to find a good psychiatrist in your area, her primary care physician may be able to help.

Good luck,

Teri Robert
