Q: Have taken anti-depressants for 16 years and was most successful with zoloft but

it has flatlined my emotions.  Doctor tried two other anti-depressants and have had bad results with them.  At a loss as to what can help?  Am taking nothing now and having great difficulty with paranoia and mood swings.  Daughter takes deplin and has helped her.  Would this be something to consider?

Paranoia and mood swings are generally not part of unipolar depression. It sounds like the first step to take is to get a proper diagnosis, and to find out if you have bipolar disorder instead.
