my dad committed suicide recently, he started on paxil 12 hours earlier can one pill effect you?

Can on pill effect your system?  He was on xanex for 2 months prior for axiety and then he was perscribed paxil for depression Is it possible that the mixture might have effected him or is it possible that the one pill could have triggered something in his system?

my 32 year old brother they say committed suicide,But he was not a depressed person, but he had been drinking and fighting with his wife.He was like a son to me and my best freind.And i know my ms also makes me depressed.

I don't think it was Paxil. He was not on it long enough. I'm pretty sure that he was thinking about it for some time. you just don't get up and decide to do it.  May he find the peace he didn't have here.

im sorry im not answering your question. I am 12 years old, and my dad committed suicide when i was 7. We had gone to CVS to pick up his new meds, and when we came home, BOOM! he was gone, he had driven up to his favorite police cheifs memorial ground, and shot himself, he was on the wrong pills, and thought someone was coming to murder our family, so b4 that could happen, he murdered himself first.... i know how you feel...Cry
