Q: facial hair side-effect from Wellbutrin?

Several years ago i tired wellbutrin. The literature with the Rx mentioned that wellbutrin could cause facial hair. I didn't like the way I felt on wellbutrin, so i stopped it and went back to prozac.  A little over a year ago i went back to wellbutrin, but the accompanying literature didn't have the side=effect of facial hair (on women) in it. What has changed? Does wellbutrin cause facial hair in women, or did they change the formulation of wellburtin? that seems unlikely because if the formulation were changed, the Rx would no longer be wellbutrin. What have other people experienced regarding facial hair and wellbutrin? Thank you.

If they removed one of the side effects then due ti FDA regulations they gad to have justifiable evidence. Bupropian which is different from regular antidepressants, but acts similar to an ssri has been noted to have the least side effects of an antidepressant.

In most cases if the side effect occurs, it generally subsides when the medication is stopped. Why worry about it?

Why would you want to restart something that you didnt feel comfortable with in the first place? Most doctors will try the list approach until they find what works for you.
