Q: Partner depression

My boyfriend and I have been dating for almost a year, but I have known him for 2 years. He is going through alot of things such as court for his son, his teenage daughter is going the "bad route", his teenage son seems to be fine. My boyfriend has gone through alot of jobs but has now found something that he enjoys -- selling used cars. I have been     supporting him financially and emotionally for a long time. I have noticed lately a brief change in his mood, to where he is back to his old self, but now he has withdrawn. I have tried to have conversations with him but it is like pulling teeth. He has said that it is not me and that I deserve better. I have suffered depression before and I had reached stage 2 of suicide thoughts. I have given my boyfriend space so that he can collect his thoughts/feelings. But he keeps shutting me out, I don't want to smother him, and breaking up is not an option. I don't doubt that he loves me, I just don't know what else I can do to help him through this. Any ideas? Sincerely Wanda

Gosh, how about putting yourself first?

It is not easy as I read that you are always there for your love.

How about allowing your self some days off from stress?

He will see you as a stronger person.

Give it some thought.

What did you enjoy doing before you met him? Music, reading, taking walks?

You sound like a good person
