Oh my goodness Kelti!

What is going on?  Do you have a doctor to call?  I know you must be frightened.  Has this happened before?  I think you should call your doctor or the hospital to get advice on what to do.

I am also going to give you the link to our Diabetes site...they may be able to give you some help there.

I am so sorry this is happening...please write again to let us know how you are doing.

Kelti, you are retaining water for some reason.  It could be caused by any number of things - not drinking enough fluids, heat, too much salt, to name a few.  Can you call your doctor or clinic and talk to a nurse about it?  A medical person would know if this sounds like something caused by your diabetes or if it's something you should be really concerned about.  It's good that the cold packs are helping.  Try not to panic, just make a call to your doctor's clinic and someone should be able to talk to you about this.

Let us know how you come out with this, okay?  It may just be something minor.

Judy, the swelling is in direct relation to my heart problems.  It flared up really bad one day after being on computer for 20 straigt hours. (Manic)  Kelti
