Hi -
When you say accommodation, I assume you're referring to federal disability law requirements (ADA and other laws)? If so, mental disabilities are covered just like physical ones, but it's often harder to define what the accommodation should be. The employer is not obliged to keep you unless the accommodation would enable you to do the work you were hired to do. (The question of what the job requirements are and the basis on which you were hired is a management and employee contract problem that I can't get into.) For disability, you have to prove you have the condition and provide a record of your care - the employer can also have you evaluated by their own mental health professional. So all that's complicated. There are a lot of stress reduction programs around, and maybe the employer could offer something like that.
You need to consider if you should have a job this stressful - stress can affect your health in all sorts of ways, none of them good. You could take medications to relieve stress and you could try mindfulness meditation - or some other program designed to reduce stress on your own instead of trying to get the employer to help.
In any case, you should get medical advice as soon as possible. There are things that can be done to help you.
John

Hi John - Thank you for your generous reply. I guess my question is, is re-assigning me to a different spot a reasonable accommodation? For the past 13 years I have been treated for PTSD, Depression, Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Panic. I have been clean from alcohol and drugs for 13 years also. I have held jobs throughout those 13 years. I would not have taken this job if I knew I was going to be micro-micro-managed with sales goals up my A** every minute of every 10 hour day! I have been on this job for 4 months, 6 weeks of which were in training, and these symptoms have been building since then. Thank you for any and all help you can give me. Linda
