I felt like this the year I was on Prozac. It could either be due to the Celexa or to depression. You definitely should talk to your doctor about this.

I feel like that often. When I have bouts of depression, the hardest thing for me to remember is that it doesn't last forever. Are you doing anything besides the Celexa? Do you see a therapist or have someone trustworthy you can talk to? Exercise helps me, but it takes a lot of exercise before I see a difference.

Best to you. A month is a long time. I feel for you.

I realized about a year ago that I couldn't remember the last time that i had any smaller emotions. So, i decided to go to the shrink (no offense) and everything........ I was really reluctant when i started, but then started to remember being just a child, and i would always just stare at the floor if i was at an amusement park, or similar problems like that. I never really even thought that it was a huge problem, but when i started talking to the shrink, they said that it's a completely normal form of depression. I'm on a few medications, but you should go to a psychiatrist for any pills (one thing i had to learn for myself). Just take it how they say, everyday, and you'll notice a difference in about 3 or 4 months at the latest. I personally started feeling better in 1 1/2 months from this and chronic anxiety. Two completely different things, and i can relate without the others. Maybe even if you catch something now you can solve it before it gets bigger. However, usually a numbing or empty feeling is usually from a sudden dramatic event/realization at any point of your life or a progressed issue through a somewhat larger amount of time. Sorry for the novel, hope i could help anyone.
