 I take zoloft for my anxiety, and i was wondering if drinking alcohol would effect me?

Hi Ashley -

Thank you for your question. As alcohol is a depressant, it does interact with Zoloft to cause depression of the central nervous system. Depression of the CNS can lead to decreased breathing, decreased heart rate, and impaired alertness. I hope this helps!
