Hello,
I want you to know that your relatively few words are having a big impact on me. My shrink, who I trust very much, responded to my questions about morning depression by telling me that, as we all know, many of us are not "morning" people and he didn't feel that it was directly related to my depression.
That answer didn't seem to help and I decided this morning when I did get up (well, it's actually almost noon) that I would see what I might stumble upon on the internet.
Your words, "remove my bed covers; put my feet on the floor," caught my attention. So many comments involve what to do after getting up, i.e. take a walk, have coffee, look out at the sunshine (if there is any), etc., etc.
Your 10 words are what I seem to need. I cannot (or will not?) make those first "simple" steps. And to put it into such a very basic framework . . . well, my response isn't very "basic;" it's long and wordy (and analytical, something for which I'm accused of being too often).
Thank you for responding to the question presented, and know that you helped me very much. Who knows how many people we unknowingly help in the course of a day? I try to keep that in mind but sometimes I slip.
Thank you, again. I printed your answer and will keep it next to my bed.
Sincerely,
Marsha biggsmarsha@gmail.com
