Hello Biddy

This is a very interesting question.   Without knowing any of your background I am at a loss to answer but I will say that depression can sometimes cause cognitive difficulties.  My personal experience is that my mind seems to greatly slow down causing me to become very forgetful.

Or you might be talking about not being able to remember certain things because they are related to trauma or emotional crisis.

Can you give us any more information to go on?

Thank you for your question and I do hope you come back to Health Central to read and to share.
