Q: WIll I lose weight gained as a side effect quickly after meds have been changed?

My doctor switched my meds from wilburton to cymbalta in dec 08, since then I've gained 20 lbs, now he is taking me off due to weight gain and memory loss and switching me to effexor- will i lose this weight the same way i gained it? Please tell me yes

Hopefully, you will, but nobody can tell you with absolute certaity that you will lose the weight or how quickly you will. It really depends on your body and metabolism.

Hope the answer does turn out to be "yes!"
