Wendy I am asking the same question pretty much. I have tried paxil, celexa, effexil, and effexor. i have had intense anxiety attacks for 11 years now with no known reason as to why but I have been on 150 mg of effexor for 2 years now and it has been working awesome for me.What is your dosage and have you talked to your doctor???Before you switch try and increase your dosage and give it another month or 2 and if it is really not working then try to switch.Remember that a switch is gradual since you have the effexor still in your system, and if a switch is necessary, go to it with an open mind and you would be suprised. If you switch with these thoughts off anxiety it will probably make your anxiety a little rougher at first. Think positive!!!!
