Sorry that you've been having problems getting a straight answer. Here is how you log off.

Hover your mouse over the "My Home" button in the upper right corner.

When the menu drops down, scroll your mouse down to "Sign Out" and click on it.

This will log you off the site. You will need to sign in the next time that you visit.

SGH, I don't know who has been sending you emails about this, but you don't officially "log off" this site - you just close out of your browser session.  It's not like Face Book where there's a "log out" choice in a menu.  Just close your browser like you would exit out of anything else.

I hope that's what you were looking for.

I had to sign in to get on the site; there ought to be a way to sign off, just like email, FB, and the other numerous sites I belong to.  They all let you log off when you're finished.  Are you saying that I'm logged off once I close my browser?  On health sites life this, isn't anyone concerned about their privacy?

Yes, you are logged off once you leave the site.  I don't think anyone has had a problem with privacy that I've heard of; I never have and I've been on here for over two years.

I am confused... can you see the sign out button on the right hand corner below the search bar on a green border? It should be there. It's next to your name, the little logo of a house, your messages and your "my home" button.

I do not wish to come off as rude. But if I am reading your question correctly you must want to sign out of the network. As far as I know this is the only way to do it.

Someone else told me the same thing.  All that's there is the house, nothing else, no matter where I am in the site.  You're correct, when I'm finished using the site, I want to log out just like I do with every other online 'accouunt' I have.  Thanks anyway.  sgh

Oh, I see.

Strange thing happened to me I hit the button and it redirected me to facebook and asked me to sign in...

I just closed my browser. And I came back to double check and I was not online I even googled my name and went directly to the site.

If you just leave it should sign you off. By leave I mean close ur browser of course. If it does not then I don't know what to say.

Click "sign out" on the top right of the screen, right above the date.
