Recommended way to withdraw from Norpramin after adding Paxil?

I have been taking Norpramin for many years for the treatment of panic attacks. My doctor has recently prescribed Paxil, with the idea that I would eventually cease the use of the Norpamin. Does the withdrawal of the Norpramin need to be gradual, or can I just stop?

Thanks, John

Hi John, This is probably too late, but when I recently went off Norpramin (after many years as well), I tapered off gradually. Actually probably a little faster than my Dr. would have liked, but I was fine - no problem... I hope it went well for you. Mara
