Q: can prozac show up on a drug screen?

my fiance took a drug test and it came up positive for benzos? (spelling probably wrong). we were wondering if that could be from her anti-depressants.

Yes there are some antidepressants that are benzo's. I dont believe that prozac is a benzo though.

Commonly prescribed benzodiazepines include Xanax© (alprazolam), Librium© (chlordiazepoxide), Valium© (diazepam), and Ativan© (lorazepam).

Another benzodiazepine that has been the focus of a great deal of media attention is flunitrazepam, trade name Rohypnol©, which is known widely as "the date-rape drug" due to its involvement in many sexual assault cases in recent years.
