Do any of the medications work? I have severe anxiety and depression for many yrs. Do any of the medications work for this type of illness???

Hi, Lucy. Do you have a psychiatrist and have you tried any medications before? The frustrating thing about them is that some of them work for some people, and to varying degrees. I think if a person is feeling severely depressed and/or anxious, it's certainly worth a try to see if something would help. Have you tried therapy? Doing both is usually the most helpful.
