i was diagnosed with depression in 07 tried prozac,cymbalta,lexapro,and now imipramine was up to 125mg then went down to 75mg have been stable on that for over yr now out of the blue i started feeling depression come back now i am back up to125mg i am wondering how long it will take to be stable again also is there side effects when dosage is increased after beeing stable at 75mg for awhile

Hi Hope
This is definitely a question to ask of your doctor. In the meantime let me give you the link to our information about Trofanil and here they say: "This medication does not work right away. It may take up to 3 weeks before you experience the full benefits if you are taking this medication for depression."
I would give it some time to kick in so that you are at the full therapeutic dosage for you. It just may take several weeks. Everyone responds differently so there isn't any one answer.
