Q: Accessing medication

I have been on a regime of Parnate for some time now and my supply brought with me from my home country will soon be finished.

I am beginning to panic a little because the doctor here told me it was not available in Mexico - on or off prescription.

One firm which advertises medicines by post in Canada requires a prescription befor they can dispatch the medication.

Is it likely that a doctor here would prescribe it? Even if he did would his prescription be valid in another country - the US or Canada?  This doesn't seem to be a problem I can solve - apart from flying to the US every six months to see a doctor. Any solutions?

Any prescription that you recieve should be valid for an internet purchase as long as the doctor can be reached you shouldnt have a problem. It really depends on the prescription company or supplier if they will send it to your country.

Hope this helps
