Q: A week ago I started taking 1.5 of Paxil and 1.5 of Wellbutrin ever since then I've had terible inso

I've had terrible insomnia since combining the 2 drugs. I can't take Wellbutrin on it's own as I get severe muscle aches and horrible head aches in the back of my head. I did very well on 30 Paxil but it made me gain a ton of weight. I need to sleep so don't know what to do at this point. I changed to Wellbutrin for the weight issue. Anyone out there experience the insomnia when combining the 2 drugs?

I think you need to contact your doctor, especially if you don't have an appointment coming up soon. Reactions to medication are extremely individual, especially as it depends on what other medications, prescription and non-prescription, someone might be taking, so that may be why no one else has had the same reaction to combining those two medications.
