Hi there
I guess one question I have is...what sort of antidepressants are you taking? Some antidepressants can actually contribute to weight gain and some are more weight neutral. I think your question is best asked of your doctor. There really is no quick way to lose weight and some of the over the counter "remedies" out there could prove dangerous such as weight loss pills. I would take it one step at a time by changing your diet and exercising. But do consult with your doctor about which weight loss strategies are best for your condition. You will probably find that a change in diet and the exercise will be a natural way to aleviate your depression symptoms.
In the meantime here is the link to our diet and exercise site. There is a lot to read there about how to lose weight safely and effectively.
I wish you the best of luck.
