Q: I have been taking cymbalta for 6mths now at first it seemed to work but then it started making me

tired, not want to do anything or see anyone.  I was taking 60mgs but took myself down to 30 which is helping a little bit but it seems i get agitated easily.  my family also has brought to my attention that I have had flu like symptoms for awhile now. Is this something i should be taking because ive had this same problem with every antidepressant i have taken  Do you have any suggestions?  I already know i need to talk to my family doctor about this but i would also like to get your opinion

thank you

I don't have personal experience with Cymbalta, but in general, if an antidepressant starts out well but then "poops out" your doctor would recommend raising the dosage, not lowering it. You definitely need to talk to your doctor.
