Hi Rizwan70: Several things come to mind. First, after six months, you should no longer have these side effects from Prozac. They usually only last a month or two. You're not on a terribly high dose of Prozac, either.  Second, there are many antidepressants that a doctor can try for you, just because Prozac doesn't work, doesn't mean that there isn't one out there for you. I am not a psychiatrist, but have found that Prozac, and other SSRI's have similar side effect profiles but sometimes people can tolerate other ones that are combinations of SSRI's (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors) and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors such as Effexor, (venlafaxine) or Cymbalta (duloxetine). Many people like Wellbutrin which works very differently from the drugs I named above, but I wouldn't try any of them without consulting with your physician. If you don't like or trust your psychiatrist, find a new one! There are many wonderful practitioners out there with whom you could work. Also, seeing a psychologist isn't a bad idea, either. Medications are useful, but usually don't address underlying problems that may have caused the depression in the first place. To find a psychologist near you, go to Psychology Today.   I hope this helps, Dr. Diana Walcutt The Stress Masters   *Dr. Walcutt is a Psychologist, not a Psychiatrist.
