Hi Arizona

I can totally see where you might feel alone with this great change to move away from family.  And now you are also dealing with menopause.  Give yourself credit for dealing with so much.

Wanted to tell you that you are not alone even though it feels like this.  There are a good many people who are also dealing with their depression and you can find some of them right here on this site.  This is a good step you took by coming here and reaching out.  So please stay on with us....write about your experience...we are listening.

Not sure what to tell you about the hormones.  I have heard that there are risks.  Please do research before you do this.  We do have a Menopause site on Health Central which you can find here.

Hope to hear from you again.  I know it ain't easy what you are dealing with.  But...you are not alone.

I do not think that it is that they do not get it, I think that it is more that they do not understand it.  People have a tendancy to shy away from that which they do not understand.  Such is the case with me and MS people really do not know what exactly is going on so rather than try to understand they shy away.  What moronesUndecided  Your spouse wants o help but he just does not know what to do to make it better, so he is suffering also.  He loves you, so when you are hurting, he is hurting also.  Doctors sometimes just don't get it, and they feel like adding another pill will do the trick, we have to make them understand that is not always the anwser.  Tell your doctor try listening to you with his mind and not the prescription pad all the time, tell him that you are not going away that easy!  It will get better, breathe, and stand your ground, take some time out for yourself, do some "me" time it works.  Shery/smomdukesKiss
