I don't blame you, then, for being wary of this drug.  Can you talk to his doctor about your concerns?  I can't see where Seroquel would help dementia, anyway, it's more for auditory hallucinations, I think.  Maybe you should get a second opinion - I wonder why his doctor wouldn't be aware of the risks.  Well, hope it all works out okay for you and your dad.  It's good you researched it.
