Hi there,   The drug Lovan is Fluoxetine (also sold under the brand name Prozac.) You can read about it here. It is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSSIs) generally prescribed for depression, OCD, anxiety disorders among other things. It specifically states that you are to let your doctor know in the event you exhibit the following:   "Tell the doctor immediately if you notice worsening depression/other psychiatric conditions, unusual behavior changes (including possible suicidal thoughts/attempts), or other mental/mood changes (including new/worsening anxiety, panic attacks, trouble sleeping, irritability, hostile/angry feelings, impulsive actions, severe restlessness, very rapid speech). Be especially watchful for these symptoms when a new antidepressant is started or when the dose is changed."   Since your doctor changed your dosage, it is apparent that it is not working for you and it is the doctor's responsibility to listen to you and not berate you. Get another doctor and when you are back on your feet, lodge a formal complaint about this one.   Take care and please stay in touch!Vicki M
