I suffer from CD, yesterday my Dr. said I need to take a FMLA, as my employment is highly stressful. Because FMLA is unpaid leave, even if my employer offered it (there are less than 50 employees), due to financial obligations, I am unable to take it. Can anyone give me any suggestions?

I TOTALLY understand your situation. I do have FMLA with my employer and they have STD (Laughing) Short-term disability. I have to been gone from work a total of 3 days before I receive any benifits. It doesn't equal my whole pay...but anything helps. You might want to check to see if your employer offers this just doesn't WANT you to know.  Good Luck with ALL!!!
