Q: For my panic attacks, I have changed my medication from Purata......been on it for too long to Zanor

I am 58 now and barring your normal ups-and-downs, leading a relatively stress free life.  I do my yoga and excercise on the Turbocharger.  But when I was a young girl, I had a very "unstable" upbringing, a very unhappy 7 year marriage and as a single mom with no assistance put my kids through College.  Now they are settled, married and have kids of their own.  My panic attacks only started when I stopped working approximately 10 years ago.  Luckily I have managed to control it with whatever I can equip myself with in a positive way.  I am currently reading Louise L Hay's book, You can Heal your Life.  That is very inspirational.  I am proud that I asked my dr to change my medication from Purata to Zanor.  I experience that I need it less........only when I get that feeling of my chest closing up and to have a good night's rest.  I only need 4 hours sleep, but I do not take easily to interupted sleep.  Also with the amount of crime in our country, that has also added to my panic attacks.

Hi there

We really appreciate that you have taken the time to share your story and experiences here.  So you like Zanor?  Is it better than the other medication in your opinion?

Wanted to also tell you that we have an anxiety site right here on Health Central that you can check out right here.

Thank you again for talking about your experiences.  I hope you do so again.
