Hi there

Well this is a really good question to ask your doctor or even your pharmacist.

In the meantime I can give you the information we have on Health Central about Celexa which you may find here.

It does seem that insomnia is a side effect for up to fifteen percent of people who take it according to this medication site.  The authors there give some tips of how to get to sleep.

Ask your doctor when is the best time to take this drug and also if you can take something like Melatonin (a natural sleep aid found in the health food store) to get to sleep.

I hope you get the sleep you need.  Thank you for your question.
