Q: whats the difference between amitriptyline tab 25 mg and amitriptyline HCL tab 25 mg?

I think your easiest and best chance is to phone a local pharmacy and ask the pharmacist this question. I think the HCL stands for Hydrochloride but why it is there, I don't know. I have taken amitriptyline but I've not known there was an HCL version till I started looking.
