Q: my wife has depression for almost 10-12 year but she is on treatment,sometime it become fine than

she stop taking medication, the symptoms are true as you aditting  on SSRI,our doctor used to injected  her when she is injected she become ok,now we have find one doctor who started treat her with pills,for months but no change,she lelf our bedroom,sleeping with children,what i want to know is how to handle the situation ,and the step to respond to her situation,i have been almost 12years and we have 5 children our firstborn turn 18year 2010

 

sometime i feel that she just want her to be have in that way or she do it delibarertly

but think to your  web-side,now i understand according to your experience

Paulus, I can tell from your post you really love your wife and want to do what is best for her and your relationship.  Can't her new doctor give injections instead of pills?  Have you asked him?  If she was lucky enough to find something that worked before, it is my opinion that she needs to return to that same treatment.

 

If injections can't be given, then she needs to work with her doctor to find a pill that will help.  There are many different antidepressants.  I had to try several before finding one that worked.  And actually, I now take two different antidepressants every day to feel my best.  If one medication has not worked over a period of months, it is time to try a different one.  But if I were you, I would try to find a doctor will give the injections.
