It depends how much you were taking and for how long, but you shouldn't stop it suddenly. But if you do, there are things that can help...e.g. Omega 3 fish oil capsules helps with the electrical brain zaps, B vitamins, drinking lots of water and exercising.
I'm presently coming off Paxil too but real slowly. I've been on it for 6 years so in addition to taking all the above, I am also taking ativan to help with the anxiety esp. first thing in the morning.
However, I find that some people have absolutely no withdrawal symptoms and some people have a pretty rough time. Good luck.
