Q: Weight loss after gaining weight due to anti-depressants

What is a good over the counter weight loss product to take to help me lose the weight I've gained because of taking Paxil? My doctor refuses to prescribe me any weight loss aids because of taking anti-depressants so I am on my own trying to lose all this weight.

I don't believe anyone here can recommend something to take, even over the counter, over your doctor's best judgment. Not sure if you're happy with your present doctor, or if a change would benefit you.

A two part article dealing with at least part of your question antidepressants and weight gain, has just been completed by, Merely Me, a writer here.

Part One is here and Part Two, here.

The comments to each part are very interesting also, many written by people dealing with a similar problem, or telling their experiences.
