Q: What is the best way to come off 150mg of Effexor when switching to Pristiq?

I have read that some people experience withdrawal like symptoms when stopping effexor. Not saying that will happen to you. Some people slowly cut back on the amount of effexor until they are barely taking anything.
But only your doctor can answer this question and you shouldnt be afraid to ask it.

hi kathy,i was on effexor 75mg for two years my doctor gave me a weeks trial of the pristiq it is day six and so far so good the first two days i felt a little dizzy but that was all ,good luck hopefully you will be the same .
